What are the FTP settings?
First you will need an FTP program many free versions are
located at Download.com Once you have installed the program
you will need to enter in your domain settings for your FTP
access which are: (Generic)
FTP host: yourdomain.com
FTP login: given after sign-up
FTP password: (corresponding password to the FTP login)
You would need to upload your website pages / files to the
folder named "httpdocs"
How long does it take for my domain to become active?
Any DNS change can take up to 48 hours for the settings to
propagate throughout the servers of the world.
I'm on a Mac can I use a Mac FTP program?
Yes, we support Mac FTP programs. All information on how to
set up your FTP program to upload files to our servers is
available in the control panel once you have an account with
us.
I uploaded my new webpage, but I still see the old one,
what is wrong?
More likely then not you have not overwritten the index.html
file which is automatically placed in the domain folder to
protect any work you are doing on your website from being
publicly viewed. Simply enter into your account and rename
the page you wish to be shown first as index.html. If there
are 2 index files located in your directory delete the default
one.
What is the Control Panel?
The Control Panel is an end user account manager where you
can administer and make changes to your account. You can create
email accounts, mailing lists etc in the Control Panel.
How do I access the Control Panel?
Click to control panel "Existing User" link on our
website.
You will be prompted to enter your username and password before
you log in.
How can I access Web Mail?
You can access Web Mail at http://webmail.yourdomain.com
What is the Raw Access Log?
The Raw Access Log allows you to download your Apache Log
File in .gz format. This will allow you to see all access
entries to your page. Access Logs are cleared once a month
normally.
Can I change the MX records on my account?
Yes, we will change MX records at no cost.
NOTE: Once MX records are changed another email server will
handle your email. You will no longer be able to send email
and receive it on our servers. If you have problems with email
after the records are changed you should contact the site
handling your email first as we are no longer in control of
the email servers handling you.
Changing the MX record may use some problem to CGI programs
use SendMail and MailFrom parameters
After changing the MX record we will never support Mail problems!
What is my SMTP server?
Your SMTP server is yourdomain.com or you can use the given
IP address.
